Ferrellgas Community Involvement Program Dedicates New Propane Bobtail to Fallen Heroes

To commemorate the lives of the 19 firefighters of the Prescott Fire Department, a group commonly referred to as the Granite Mountain Hotshots, Ferrellgas unveiled a charity bobtail propane delivery truck in their honor.

This group of firefighters lost their lives while battling a 2,000-acre forest fire on June 30, 2013. Devastating the city of Prescott, Arizona and making headlines across the world, this is considered the worst loss of life for a wildland firefighting crew in the U.S. in more than 80 years.

This bobtail joins a fleet of charity propane delivery trucks offered by Ferrellgas as part of its Community Involvement Programs. This specific delivery truck will benefit the Prescott Fire Fighter Charities.

Founded in 2008, Prescott Fire Fighter Charities is an organization that seeks to provide aid to members of the community during their time of need.
