Our location in Missoula, MT is looking for an Operations Manager. The primary purposes of this position are for the safe delivery, repair and installation of propane and appliances and to generate new profitable customers and maintain the customer base. This position will also supervise the daily operations of the plant/location in order to assure high safety standards, provide technical knowledge ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain overall presence of the facility, yard and Ferrellgas fleet.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains propane and appliances for retail customers
• Provide technical expertise on the safe storage and handling of propane and ensure all safety standards are met.
• Be aware of competitor actions, complete price surveys and maintain customer growth and retention.
• Design strategic and tactical plans to achieve their monthly sales goals
• Manages Service Center assets and inventory to improve return on investments.
• Responsible for conducting safety meetings and on going safety training within the center. |
