| Description: | This position is responsible for managing all Scan-Based Trading (SBT) receivables for Blue Rhino, including overseeing the compilation and analysis of POS/delivery data, reconciliation of differences (shrink), and the cross-functional coordination of processes required to achieve optimum operational and financial goals. Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years receivables management experience.
Essential Functions:
• Supervises the preparation of POS and delivery reconciliations. Reviews the POS analyses to determine shrinkage, trends, variances, and other issues; recommend action plan/strategies or corrective action when needed.
• Measures and tracks the condition of SBT customer base receivables using a clear, well-stated metric(s) or indicator(s); communicate the results to all stakeholders.
• Works closely with cash application team to insure proper posting of POS payments.
• Conducts monthly meeting with cross-functional groups (Sales and MIS) to discuss outstanding issues and sets action plans and resolution timetables by customer. Serve as Project Manager for all SBT projects.
• Coordinates compliance of required activities in the SBT conversion processes.
• Develops and nurtures strong customer/client relationships; harbor full ownership of the SBT receivables and related processes.
• Performs customer visits as needed to trouble-shoot causes of variances and to propose process changes.
• Creates and maintains a teamwork approach among all cross-functional groups that does not exist today.
• Provides daily oversight and direction to SBT analyst, as well as oversee reporting completed by this role. |
| Requirement: | • Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5-7 years of receivables management experience in Scan-based trading (SBT) environment isa MUST!
• Project management skills required
• Strong customer/client relationship building skills
• Solid demonstrated ability to achieve goals through cross-functional collaboration and coordination
• Self-starter with a demonstrated investigative nature
• Ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated strong record in process improvement
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
